The following is our mutual agreement for your portrait session. Please let me know if you have any questions.
The full session fee is $400 for a fall family session. Your remaining balance is $200.
Your session fee covers the following:
-30-minutes of coverage on your session date
-Artistic processing to each image
-40+ images delivered via online gallery
-Print release
Images will be delivered via a digital gallery approximately 2 weeks after your session date (unless specified otherwise).
You will receive printing rights to print wherever you please. I am happy to help you find print labs if you wish. Please be sure to download and backup your images. Whitney Shaw Photography will keep images on file for SIX months after the session date. If images are lost during that time, you pay for the images to be uploaded to your online gallery again for $30. Your online gallery will be available to for 4 weeks. If your images are not downloaded during that time, there will be a $30 fee to upload them a second time.
Half of the session fee is due upon booking to reserve your date. The remainder is due prior to the start of the session. Acceptable forms of payment are Venmo (@whitney-shaw-3), cash and check. Checks can be made out to Whitney Shaw Photography. Checks/cash can be sent to:

Images will not be delivered until payment is made in full.
Whitney Shaw will gladly reschedule due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances; please notify Whitney at least 48 hours before your session if you must reschedule. If the weather isn't agreeable on the day of the session, we will reschedule another date. If there is a chance of rain in the forecast, Whitney Shaw will notify you a day or two before the session. If a new session time cannot be agreed on, the session fee will be refunded to the client.
Please arrive on time to your scheduled session. Your scheduled time is largely based on the sunlight and you will receive less images if we don't have enough light in the allotted time.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY: The client expressly releases the photographer, employees, and agents from all claims, damages and liabilities that may result from accidents or incidents that may occur during the photo session.
FAILURE TO PERFOM: If Whitney Shaw Photography cannot perform this agreement in whole or in part due to a fire or other casualty, acts of nature or terror, or other cause beyond the control of Whitney Shaw Photography, responsibility and liability is limited to the refund of the full package amount agreed upon in this agreement. Whitney Shaw Photography takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing of photographs. However, in the unlikely event that photographs have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons within and beyond the control of Whitney Shaw Photography, responsibility and liability is limited to the refund of the full package amount agreed upon in this agreement. The limit of liability for a partial loss of photographs shall be a prorated amount based upon the percentage of photographs lost.
COPYRIGHT: All images taken at your session will be copyrighted by Whitney Shaw Photography and are protected by Federal Copyright Law. Though you are allowed to print as you please, Whitney Shaw Photography reserves the copyright and the right to use images, prints, or other works produced from your shoot for display, publication, advertising, etc., without restriction, unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon. To maintain the brand of Whitney Shaw Photography, please do not edit, crop, or alter any images whether it be for print or display on the internet (Facebook, Instagram, Blogs, etc.). As an artist, we wish to have control over the final look of our images. Please respect Whitney Shaw Photography's livelihood and the care and attention paid to each of your images by adhering to copyright laws. Please give photo credit to Whitney Shaw Photography on all forms of social media.
