  • I focus on connection-driven, story-centered photography that feels natural, emotional, and true to you — not stiff or overly posed. Whether I’m photographing a visiting family in Steamboat Springs, a high school senior, or a surprise proposal in the mountains, my goal is to create images that feel timeless and deeply personal.

    • Fish Creek Falls

    • Steamboat Lake (my fav)

    • Botanical Gardens

    • Mount Werner views

    • open fields

    • aspen groves

    • hidden mountain locations

*Ask about other hidden spots ;)

  • I help every client with outfit planning so you never have to stress about coordinating colors or figuring out what photographs best in the mountains. I recommend neutral tones, layered textures, and outfits that feel comfortable and authentic to you.

(I have a whole blog post on this and send you a style/prep guide when you book!)

    • Summer → wildflowers + green mountains

    • Fall → golden aspens

    • Winter → snowy mountain magic

    • Spring → quieter + soft light

ALL SESSIONS SHOULD BE DONE DURING “GOLDEN HOUR” IF POSSIBLE, EVEN IF IT MEANS KEEPING THE KIDS UP A LITTLE LATER FOR A NIGHT. ;)

  • Weather in the Colorado mountains can change quickly, but I always monitor forecasts closely and help guide the best decision for your session. Cloudy skies and light snowfall often create some of the dreamiest images.

IF IT’S ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, I RESCHEDULE BUT USUALLY ITS JUST ADJUSTING THE TIME BY AN HOUR OR TWO AS MOUNTAIN STORMS DON’T LAST LONG. :)

  • Absolutely. Most of my clients tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera — and that’s completely normal. I guide you through natural movement and prompts so your photos feel relaxed, connected, and genuinely like you.

    • summer/fall books fastest

    • senior season fills quickly

    • vacation family sessions should book early

Summer and fall are the busiest photography seasons in Steamboat Springs, especially for family vacations and senior portraits. I recommend booking 1–3 months in advance whenever possible. But always reach out, I try to get clients in when I can!

  • Yes! Many of my clients are families vacationing in Steamboat Springs who want to document their time together in the mountains. I help make the process easy and stress-free, from location planning to outfit guidance.

  • Absolutely — dogs are always welcome if the location allows pets. Some of my favorite sessions include furry family members exploring the mountains alongside you.
